I have wasted my summer. Absolutely wasted it. And I didn’t enjoy wasting it. I arsed around on Boards, Facebook, tumblr, Reddit, and even Twitter. I even sorted out my iTunes library – I put the right artwork and year on everything, and put the right year on everything. I’m so anal about my music library being perfect in every single way. All songs, albums and artists are grammatically correct, or else the exact way it appears on the album cover. The genres are a bit messed up,, but that’s a job for when I’m finished the repeats.

*sigh*

I have 6 fucking repeats, and I’ll be lucky if I scrape through into second year. I’d be a lot more positive about it if the first exam wasn’t Mathematica. I just don’t know how to do it. Everything else should be fine, as long as I just get the head down, which will happen. I’m going to Cork tomorrow and staying until Friday, so I have two full days of study, and exams on the other two days. It’s loads of time.

POSITIVE THOUGHTS.

I’ll spend the week down there next week as well. I have time. And Maths is fucking awesome.

In other news, no Electric Picnic, but Arcade Fire are playing in December, which makes up for it. I’d take Arcade Fire over any band at Picnic. I’ve also heard rumours that The National will be playing sometime around then, and also The Tallest Man on Earth. If they both turn out to be playing, I will be there, and it will have been a monstrously awesome year of deadly gigs. I’ve seen 65daysofstatic, Loops Haunt, Rage, Gogol Bordello, Pearl Jam, Ben Harper, Fred, Mick Flannery and C!ties! And Maybeshewill are playing in Limerick in October, and Cathy Davey and Yann Tiersen are both playing in Cork in October. FUCK YES! The prospect of deadly gigs will get me through these evil exams.

Now. Boards must go away from me. Too much time is spent there.
