I’m such a failure when it’s come to this thing. Ridiculously so. I meant to at least try and update it once a week, or there abouts, but no!

Anyways, RAG week in UCC has come and gone for another year, thankfully. What a long week it turned out to be. Before this week I’d never even drank two days in a row, so it was quite a shock to the system I must admit. Though it wasn’t helped by the fact that on Wednesday night I decided that I’d get up for my 9 o’clock the next morning for the first time this semester. I got home at 4 o’clock. A lesser man would haveĀ baulkedĀ at the idea of getting up 4 hours later, but my awesomeness won out in the end, and I got out of bed and made it through my lecture without falling asleep. Though the whole situation was helped by the fact that I had stopped drinking at eleven so I didn’t have a hangover to contend with. I paid a heavy price that night. I’ve never ever been so tired in my entire life, even the aftermath of Oxegen can’t contend with this. To counteract my lacklustre mood that night, I got a bottle of Bucky and actually drank it all. I thought the caffeine would help, but it didn’t.

On Friday I finally had the pleasure of seeing And So I Watch You From Afar live.

MIND BLOWING.

They were even better than I thought could be possible. I was just blown away by them. They somehow managed to reproduce the sound from their CDs and make it sound even better live. If you know their stuff, you’ll know how technical it is. Note for note, they got it right. And it was free as well! I really wanted a t-shirt and an EP, but RAG week has left me with a more than considerable overdraft. But anyhoo, then to top off the night, me and my friends walked down the street and saw C!ties as well. Two awesome Irish instrumental bands. It was just a brilliant night!

After that week, I’m happy to just sit back and not go out for a while. College has returned to the top of my priorities list. 6 weeks of lectures left, and I saw my timetable for the exams last night, so it’s all that bit more real. I’m hoping that I’ll get a few golden weeks put in, cut the amount of going out, and start doing some work. I’m a bit worried about a few modules and that I may end up failing. Fingers crossed that I won’t though.

Right now I’m listening to Justice. I also recently got into LCD Soundsystem. Both are pretty good I think. Check em out! Along with ASIWYFA and C!ties of course.
